To experience a true slice of local San Clemente shopping you need to stroll down Avenida Del Mar. Park your car at the top of the street and work your way down the avenue and end up at the beach (without even getting back in your car). After all that shopping, you will need to relax with a drink on the pier as you watch the sunset.

Plan to spend an entire afternoon shopping, eating and lingering over coffee at a charming café. Avenida Del Mar has everything from surf shops, antique stores, clothes boutiques, art galleries, book stores, nail salons, children’s stores, shoe stores, fabric stores, craft galleries, internet cafes, chocolatiers, to souvenir stops. Most of the stores are locally owned and very few are chain stores. No matter what you are looking for downtown San Clemente has it all!
